Review:
Kuuku (Adjetey Anang) and Nii Aryee (Majid Michel) applied for numerous jobs after graduation but they didn’t receive any offers. Despair allowed them to be lured into “get rich quick” schemes that ultimately left them burned. Their desperation led them to tap into unconventional methods, which produced bizarre results.
Let’s Talk. “A Sting in a Tale” takes us alongside the journey as two friends embark on the quest of finding gainful employment. It is brimming with believable and likeable characters who share the struggle of making it in the world.
The two men have degrees but little work experience. This made the movie relatable across borders due to the all too common “catch 22” theory; you need experience to get a job but you need a job to gain experience.
The movie is a mixed bag of success, death, and ghosts and there is a certain African authenticity about it.
As for performances, the characters are well played by Anang and Michel and viewers should be warned to expect the unexpected. RECOMMEND
