Title: BLESS ME (1 & 2)
Starring: Mike Ezuruonye, Rita Dominic
Synopsis:
A struggling man loses faith in God when he sees those who have no use for God continue to flourish while he remains poor.
Review:
Festus (Mike Ezuruonye) is a God fearing Christian who had devoted his life to the church. As he toiled at his shop in the marketplace, he watched other business owners experience wealth while he struggled and remained poor.
Fetus wondered why those who have no use for God were wealthy while he, an avid worshipper of God, was not. When God finally blessed him with financial success, Fetus’ spirituality took a turn for the worst.
Let’s Talk. This movie is rich in the word of God but also has its share of witchcraft and secret cults. Part one of this movie is best as Festus continued to pray yet he questioned God. His wife, Amaka (Rita Dominic) tried to keep him grounded in faith and prayed with him.
Part two went into rituals as Festus lost faith in God and then the movie dragged and became almost boring.
The picture quality and sound is not the greatest but the acting was.
Rita Dominic is a talented actress and she sufficed at the wife of a disturbed man. Mike Ezuruonye is an underrated, superbly talented actor who did a fantastic job playing Festus and for that reason alone does this film get a thumb up. RECOMMEND
