Starring: Ini Edo, Uche Jombo
Synopsis:
A constant bickering family seems to have gone mad. Every minute there’s a new feud but what’s at the root of it all?
Review:
The Chief and his wife are concerned about the behavior of their grown children. The constant bickering is disturbing but it happens to be a normal way of life in the household. Drugs, sex, and alcohol play a role in the chaos but there’s a family secret that may be at the root of it all.
Let’s Talk. ”Mad Family” is an action packed drama that will keep you on your feet. There is plenty of foul language, sex, and drugs to spare. The performances are all on point as the actors portray a ghetto family in disarray.
The family quarreling is hilarious at times whether it’s meant to be or not. It actually led them on a family outing where they discovered family secrets.
Performances? Ini Edo and Uche Jombo tear it up in this movie and the scenes between Mrs. Ezego and Ifunaya (Eve Esin) are absolute tearjerkers.
What’s at fault in the story is the fact that the crime of rape goes unpunished. Although the root of the family’s problems is discovered, it doesn’t negate the fact that a crime took place. This is a loose end that should have been tied up especially coming from a female screenwriter.
“Mad Family” is mad entertaining to say the least. Please note that this movie is also known as “Mad Sex.” RECOMMEND
