Starring: JJ Bunny, Van Vicker
Synopsis:
A woman bets three of her girlfriends that the men in their lives would cheat on them if given the opportunity.
Review:
Angel (JJ Bunny) set out to prove to her girlfriends that their significant others would cheat if they had the opportunity. She set her plan in motion but bumped into a problem when she developed feelings for her friend’s husband.
Let’s Talk. Are there any faithful men left in this world? Angel, the main character played by JJ Bunny set out to prove a point. She set a trap for her girlfriends’ boyfriends, to see if they would cheat, but it was she who got caught in the web.
The conflict set in when Angel played her game and actually fell in love with her girlfriend’s husband. Should all bets be off at that point? This is where integrity came into play. Angel had to decide whether to be a “home wrecker” or keep her friendship.
Performances sufficed although there were some amateurs. But it was JJ Bunny’s character that kept the fire burning. She had great chemistry with Van VIcker which made the supporting characters seem like nothing but pawns in her game.
“The Bet” is a really good movie that tests the morality of men in relationships and the loyalty of female friendships. RECOMMEND
