Title: WRONG TARGET (1 & 2)
Starring: John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Christabel Ekeh
Synopsis:
A businessman must fend for himself when hoodlums target him and insist that he use his company to further their illegal activities.
Review:
Kofi (John Dumelo) is happily married to Jackie (Yvonne Nelson) and owns an award winning software company. Life is going great until Naked (Dream Debo), a thug, requests that Kofi create illegal software that grants unauthorized access to accounts. Kofi refuses to become involved so Naked and his crew decide to spy on him.
When Kofi finally makes a wrong move, Naked and his thugs blackmail him. It’s a tug of war between Kofi and the street gangs and the situation escalates into a dangerous standoff.
Let’s Talk. This is an on target drama that is fast paced and captivating from start to finish. John Dumelo is straight-up smoking playing a successful businessman. He plays a character that actually loves his wife, which is refreshing. The chemistry between him and Yvonne Nelson seemed awkward at times but the sparks between Dumelo and Christabel Ekeh could set your screen on fire.
The performances of the main characters are fine and the supporting cast were pretty good too. Atto Erick and Dream Debo are authentic as the bad boys in the movie. Paul Wilson, who played Jackie’s father, possessed a genuine aura of wealth and is simply divine to watch in this movie.
“Wrong Target” is a magical blend of corporations and street gangs rolled into one hot movie. RECOMMEND
